Ballys Poker Room

The Poker Tables At Bally’s Casino

Ballys Poker VegasDepending on which Bally’s casino and resort you like to frequent will determine whether or not your poker playing will take place in an actual room – like at the Bally’s in Atlantic City – or in a partitioned off area of the Las Vegas’ Resort’s casino floor. The seven tables you find in Las Vegas are top of the line and there is plenty of room to move in this cordoned off section in of the casino proper. Potential players beware, though. The poker ‘room’ at Bally’s can get a bit noisy thanks to the table games and slot machines on the other side of the three quarter wall.

Branded with the Bally’s logo and complete with automatic shufflers, the poker tables at Bally’s can sit up to six players. Play here tends to feature quite a few novice players within each game. Bally’s tries to make their poker card room as inviting as possible so that someone who has never played poker at a casino before is willing to try their luck. There is a computerized waiting list system and the plasma televisions in the poker room display not only the waiting time and order at Bally’s, but also at the Paris poker room. The hotels are connected and they are both owned by Harrah’s. Waiting time on the weekend averages around five to fifteen minutes.

The dealers are very good and very accommodating to players who need to take a break. Bally’s offers drinks at the tables in their cardrooms and the service here is second to none. The staff is efficient and friendly and you can get drink you want quickly without a fuss. There is a comp program at the casino as well so anyone playing there should make sure the manager of the cardroom is aware that they are guests at Bally’s hotel and the comp is properly credited.

Ballys Poker Games

Games offered at Bally’s include the best of the best: Texas Hold’Em, Pineapple, Omaha and Seven Card Stud. Spreads on the games include: $2/$4 up to $10/$20 limit Texas Hold’Em; $1/$2 with $100/$200 buy-in, and $2/$5 with $200/$500 buy-in no limit Texas Hold’Em; $1/$5 stud; $2/$4 Pineapple and Crazy Pineapple; and $4/$8 Omaha 8 or Better tables. Each of the games is offered in additional varieties and if asked with managerial approval, Bally’s card room will spread other poker variations if there is enough interest.

Bally’s in Las Vegas on average does not host any major type of poker tournament. They do, however, offer their poker players a daily in-house tournament that starts at 11:00am seven days a week. Because the card room only has seven tables, it is best to sign up for the competition as soon as possible. The room can seat only a fifty players at a time maximum. Registration starts at 9:00am. Buy-ins for the no limit Texas Hold’Em tournaments for Monday through Friday is $65 + $5 with no rebuys or add-ons. Buy-ins for Saturday and Sunday is $80 with a single re-buy for $40 if the player so desires.
