The Bellagio Poker RoomThe Poker Room At The Bellagio Las Vegas
The Bellagio cardroom was recently remodeled and is decorated with pictures of past winners of the many tournaments and games the Bellagio has hosted. The tables have clean lines, the felt is new, and the chairs are comfortable. The dealers are friendly and know their games, and the wait staff will bring you your complimentary drink from the card room’s private dining area. Other amenities include safe deposit boxes, full-service cashier, twenty-four hour side table dining, and more. If you are staying at the Bellagio, make sure the poker room manager knows when you are playing so you can collect comps. Bobby's RoomIf you are able to play a game in the high-stakes private Bobby’s Room at the Bellagio, then you may possibly be treated with a visit from poker names such as Bobby Baldwin, Phil Ivey, Doyle Brunson, or Lyle Berman. The two high stake poker tables in the room are available twenty-four hours a day by appointment and this room hosts the highest limit poker games found on an international level. Bellagio Poker GamesGames and StakesTexas Hold’Em, Omaha, and Seven-Card Stud and their variations are offered at the poker card room. The spread on most of the tables is on Texas Hold’Em in both limit and no-limit styles, with $2/$5 and $10/$20 blinds on the no limit Hold’Em games. The spread on the Omaha games are at the higher limits, $20/$40 starting out, and the stud games start at $30/60. All of the games come in staggered stake denominations, but the lowest one on any of the games is $4/$8 for limit games and $2/$5 no-limit tables. There are no $1/$2 tables at this casino. Higher limit tables start at $20/$50 and go to $300/$600. If you are going to play poker at the Bellagio, bring your wallet. TournamentsTournaments at the Bellagio poker card room are usually held in another area of the casino proper. But the poker room offers their own tournaments with a hefty buy in. On Sunday through Thursday players can buy in to one of the tournaments for $500. Friday and Saturday tournaments cost $1,000. Players looking to get into one of these tournaments without having to shell out that kind of money are welcome to come to the poker card room at 9am and play in the satellite tournaments for that afternoon’s tournament at 2pm in an attempt to win their way in. RakeRakes at the casino are 0-10% with the maximum rake at low limit tables being $4. At the $4/$8 tables, the rake is $1 at the $10 pot, $3 at the $30 pot, $3 at the $50 pot, and $4 at the $80 pot. All new players are required to post and if they are coming into the game between the small blind and the button at the Texas Hold’Em tables, they may buy the button if they so chose. Overall, the poker room at the Bellagio is geared towards those poker players who take their games seriously. Players have the chance to win some serious money at the tables, and if they are good, they could go on to play at one of the tournaments the casino offers and win.
