Poker Gambling SEO Consulting I mentioned some of my background in SEO and poker on the home page of this site, but if you're here, you're probably interested in some more detail about what kind of search engine optimization consulting I'm available for. My name is Randy Ray, and I run multiple websites in the gambling industry (roulette, craps, blackjack, slots, and video poker). A search for any of these one or two word gambling phrases above in Google will show you that I'm in the top 10 or top 20 for any and all of those phrases.

I have also done consulting for the largest online poker site, PokerStars. During my year as the SEO consultant for the company, traffic to the main site increased by a factor of 3 and traffic to the secondary site increased by a factor of 4. These sites still rank for most of the best poker terms on the Internet, including "poker", "online poker", "free poker", "play poker", and "texas holdem". PokerStars didn't rank in the top 100 for some of these phrases (like "texas holdem") until after my involvement.

I also write a blog about affiliate marketing, and besides that, I've also been a moderator atCasino Affiliate Programs, and I was a partner at Poker Affiliate World. I was in charge of search engine optimization for the latter site. I'm also an active volunteer at several community driven websites, including the Open Directory, JoeAnt, and the Wikipedia.

I learned most of what I know about SEO in the poker industry from Steve Badger, who owns and operates one of the oldest and most-trafficked poker sites online at Play Winning Poker. He also now writes a blog about poker seo. Other people in the search engine optimization industry who have influenced my thinking on SEO include Aaron Wall, Andy Hagans, Michael Martinez, Michael Bluejay, and Eric Ward. Befriending people who are this smart is a good idea for anyone interested in SEO.
