Poker tournaments are possibly my favorite type of poker. Some people have issues with the "never-ending" nature of ring game poker. (I'm one of them.) Tournament poker though has a beginning, a middle, and an end.

A lot can be written about poker tournaments. Tournament poker strategy is one subject that can and should be covered here. (I haven't started those articles yet, although a lot of what Tony Guerrera writes for this site is certainly applicable.) And coverage of actual poker events is another potential source of topics. (Bernard Lee is handling some of that coverage for us.)

Online Poker Tournaments

World Championship of Online Poker - This is the big event from PokerStars. Probably the most prestigious and notable of the online poker tournaments which have become ubiquitous.

Full Tilt Online Poker Series - The other big online poker tournament. It seems like this one is going on constantly.
